Creative Arts
The creative sector is a vibrant field that encompasses arts, design, media, and entertainment, offering numerous career opportunities for imaginative individuals. To start your journey, focus on developing your skills in areas that interest you, such as graphic design, writing, film, or performing arts. We have a number of course in the Sixth Form to support your creative career, including A-level Media, Art, Drama, Music and BTEC Creative Digital Media Production and Music Technology. For some degrees, such as Art and Architecture, building a portfolio is essential.
You will have plenty of extra-curricular opportunities that will enhance your application and CV in the Sixth Form, attending workshops, exhibitions, shows and industry events, which will also provide the opportunity to connect with professionals and fellow creatives.
Seek work experience with local organizations, production companies, or creative agencies. This hands-on experience not only enhances your skills but also helps you understand the industry's dynamics.
